give my condolences

If it's a desktop: 1- Open the side cover and strap a desktop fan to the side of it and start it whenever you run the rig.
2- Apply a new thermal paste for the cpu fan (Or better yet get a new cpu fan and skip step one)
If it's a laptop place a thick book under the cover so the air vents under the laptop can receive more air.
I'm not joking, Trust me. I've had experience with overheating.

i swapped it for a dif one with a dif heat sink. I didn't have any thermal paste for it though.

i turned it on and the other one INSTANTLY fried. smoke and everything.

so now i'm just using the one on my motherboard already. It's basically dogshit. Its not even good enough for minecraft on absolute minimum settings. I'm gonna pick up some stuff in a bit and fix my computer back up.

This motherboard is maybe a year old btw.
